The Pontifical Guard protects since 1506

The Pontifical Swiss Guard has been protecting the Pope and his residence since 1506. The non-profit association supports the Pontifical Swiss Guard with recruitment, training, public relations work and development projects. It also supports guards on their return to Switzerland. The association is in close contact with the commander and the command of the Pontifical Swiss Guard and complements the valuable activities of the two foundations for the Pontifical Swiss Guard.
